BILENE, TX- In January, Officers from the Abilene Police Department (APD) Fraud Unit and the Crimes Against Property Unit executed a search warrant for a home  for forged documents.

During the execution, forged Social Security Administration income verification paperwork was found that was used to obtain payday loans in various names.

A woman was arrested for Forgery of a Government Document, a third-Degree Felony,” a press release from APD stated and is being held at the Taylor County Jail on a $15,000 bond.”

The victims and payday loan locations are still being identified by the APD.
